Friction experienced by Ulysse during onboarding

  • https://wiki.plasticlabs.ai/onboarding/what-and-why#3-what-we-optimize the wording here was a little confusing. Some of the terms I wasn’t familiar with e.g. “turn”, “co-travel”,
  • https://wiki.plasticlabs.ai/engineering/system-map#ml-pipeline-layer a little hard to follow as a non-ML person
  • honcho repo README: I set LLM_ANTHROPIC_API_KEY according to the instructions and commented out the OpenAI env variable but it triggers ValueError: OpenAI API key is required . Not clear which environment variables to set if you want to use something besides OpenAI. Transport vs key.
  • This is failing on Honcho and Groudon main but not running in CI 
    uv run pre-commit run --all-files
  • When you sign up, Honcho asks you how big your team is and if you say it’s “Just Me” it still asks you to invite your teammates
  • At least on test.honcho.dev, long email addresses are truncated in the dashboard in the bottom left
  • Using /honcho:config with test.honcho.dev

  • Conclusions are truncated in explore and clicking on them just copies the ID
  • Using Honcho in Claude Code, I’d like to see a summary of what Honcho is injecting
  • Didn’t know how to use Linear. Didn’t know about milestones or project page descriptions
  • Didn’t realize there was a Honcho Discord 😱
  • Who is in charge of responding to support tickets?
